1. Recreation
A wide variety of recreation programs such
as cards, bingo, dominos, walking, exercise, religious study, volunteer
work, trips, birthday parties and monthly dine-outs are designed
to meet the needs and desires of the seniors utilizing the center.
2. Congregate Meals
This nutrition program provides a hot meal
for anyone who is at least sixty years of age. The meal is served
at approximately noon, Monday through Friday. All are encouraged
to make contributions toward the cost of the meal.
3. Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels program provides hot
meals to homebound seniors. The meals are available to senior adults
who have been a long term disability or have recently been discharged
from the hospital. Volunteers are needed to serve as a friendly
contact.
4. Transportation
Transportation is available to the Center
Monday through Friday on a prescheduled pick-up route. Transportation
will also be arranged to other sites involved in cooperative projects.
5. Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of the
Senior Center. Participants may serve on a variety of communities
and/or assisting with daily activities of the Center.
